Pacquiao Vs. Bradley 3 News: Wladimir Klitschko's Coach Says Bradley Can Knock Pacquiao Out

Former heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko's trainer, Johnathon Banks, offered his two cents on the upcoming rubber match between eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.

The said fight will be taking place on April 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the same venue that housed their first two fights in June 2012 and April 2014, respectively.

Pacquiao selected Bradley as his opponent for his 66th and final fight, among a shortlist of fighters that included the names of former sparring partner Amir Khan and undefeated WBO light welterweight champion Terence Crawford.

After his third fight against Bradley, Pacquiao intends to retire and put his focus solely on being a Senator in his home country of the Philippines, if he ends up winning in the 2016 Philippine elections, which will take place in May.

During a recent interview with On the Ropes Boxing radio, Banks first stated how he disagrees with Pacquiao being the favorite in the first two previous fights, noting how Bradley is a "good athlete" and "hard worker."

He then went on to add that "Desert Storm" could very well end up victorious against "Pacman" this time around, attributing it to how Juan Manuel Marquez was able to beat the Filipino boxing icon during their fourth fight in December 2012.

He also offered an unsolicited piece of advice to Bradley, stating that he should do what Marquez did by timing the perfect shot for the knockout.

"Pacquiao hasn't changed, just time that jump and catch him when he comes in and Timothy Bradley should be able to knock him out. I really believe Bradley can knock him out," Banks said.

Bradley is coming off a recent stoppage victory against former world champion Brandon Rios, when they fought for the WBO 147-pound strap in November.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, last won by knockout in 2009, in a 12th round stoppage against Miguel Cotto.
