Pantel launched low-cost Penta T-Pad WS704DX 3G Tablet in India

When it comes to purchasing a new tablet, it's apparent that there is a wide array of brands available to choose from. While leading brands like Samsung and Apple are very rampant in the market today, lesser known brands like Pantel Technologies are offering gadgets for a low cost.

The latest one in the Pantel Technologies Private Limited line is the low-cost Android tablet dubbed as Penta T-Pad. According to Phone Radar, the Penta T-Pad WS704DX tablet has been released in the Indian market with price tag of Rs. 4,999. The product will be exclusively available in Homeshop18, which the store warmly welcomed. The COO of HomeShop18, Vikrant Khanna, stated that they are excited about the exclusive launch of the device in their store.

"This newest value proposition aims to provide superior technology at economical rates exclusively for HomeShop18 customers. We are confident that our customers will enjoy this product offering," said Khanna.

As detailed by NDTV Gadgets, the Penta T-Pad WS704DX tablet will come with a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It will carry under its hood a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and will be paired with 1GB of RAM. It will also have an 8GB of internal space along with memory expansion up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot. The highlight of the tablet is that it will feature dual-sim support and will also sport 3G connectivity.

Tech Radar noted that the said table will still run with Android 4.4. KitKat. But despite that, the Penta T-Pad still offers good function and performance that an old OS can easily be overlooked. Moreover, interested buyers will find that the tablet comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The tablet will come to life with a 3000mAh battery and offers Bluetooth, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Micro-USB connectivity options.

The aim of Pantel Technologies, according to MD Vijender Singh, is to bring to consumers a tablet that will give them what they need while at a reasonable price.
