For PSG, they booked their spot in the quarters thanks to a great performance against Chelsea in the previous round.

In the first leg, Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave them the lead in the game with a goal but after Chelsea equalised they turned to Edinson Cavani to score late in the game to give them a 2-1 victory.

When the scene shifted to Stamford Bridge, the Parisians looked to seize control of the matchup after Adrien Rabiot scored in the 16th minute to extend their lead 3-1 on aggregate.

However, the Blues were given some signs of life with Diego Costa scoring as well, but the Chelsea defence could not stop Ibrahimovic as he scored in the 67th minute of the game to turn it to its head and award PSG the 2-1 win to eventually move on thanks to a 4-2 aggregate victory.

On the other hand, Manchester City won, thanks to a great time away in the previous round, as they faced Dynamo Kyiv.

The Premier League team established their dominance in the battle early after Sergio Aguero scored in the 15th minute before David Silva made it 2-0 by halftime.

City continued to dominate to win 3-1 in the first leg as they already seemed to secure their spot in the quarterfinals.

In their home leg they failed to score but City's defence did enough to also stop Dynamo Kyiv to try and mount a comeback as they now will need flawless performances on both ends as they face PSG.
