"Jersey Shore" star Pauly D got a new haircut that sees his trademark gelled spikes become a sleeked back and more tame do.
The DJ, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, showed off the new hair to his Instagram followers on Monday by posting a photo of himself giving the thumbs-up with the hashtag "#TheGreatDJGatsby !!!"
The new look is undoubtedly inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio's character in "The Great Gatsby," as he was also dressed in a suit and tie.
Pauly's hair became his calling card back in 2009 when "Jersey Shore" first aired, and not much had changed about it except the height.
The 32-year-old reportedly takes 25 minutes each day to do his hair and flies home once a week for a haircut, according to Us Weekly.
"A lot of people try to do the same hair style, but they can't really do it right. Mine definitely stands out," he told the New York Daily News in a previous interview.
Signed to 50 Cent's G-Unit label and given a three album deal, Pauly has made a name for himself outside of his reality television success. He deejays at big parties from to New York to Los Angeles and toured with Britney Spears on her "Femme Fatale Tour" in 2011.
He also received his own spinoff show called the "Pauly D Project" in 2012, but it was canceled soon afterwards.
Pauly's a three-time nominee for Teen Choice Awards "Male Reality Star of the Year" winning twice.
The DJ currently has two singles out, "Night of My Life," and "Back to Love."
