'Penny Dreadful' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Ethan's Bond With Vanessa Grows Stronger, A Person From the Past Appears

Fans of the hit horror TV drama series "Penny Dreadful" will find the next episode of the show to their liking as it has been reported that Vanessa (Eva Green) and Ethan (Josh Hartnett) will bond together. However, their bonding will get disrupted by someone in the past.

TV Guide shared the synopsis for the episode titled "Little Scorpion." It says that Vanessa and Ethan will flee to the Cut-Wife's cottage on the lonely moors for some peace and quiet.

TV Fanatic, meanwhile, shared a slew of images on the upcoming segment which showed the two sharing a laugh and a dance. The pictures also depict Ethan cutting down the tree that took the life of Vanessa's sage. Vanessa was also featured handling a gun where she's most probably getting some lessons from the sharp-shooter himself.

The summary however points out that as the two creatures are getting closer to each other, a dark figure from Vanessa's past resurfaces which will surely test their companionship.

Elsewhere, Lyle (Simon Russell Beale) and Victor Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) continues in their search for the meanings hidden in the Verbis Diablo relics. All the while, they stumble upon a startling piece of information which leads them to conclude that Lily (Billie Piper) isn't really what she appears to be.

Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton) on the other hand, continues to fall in the wicked musings of Evelyn Poole (Helen McCrory). Aside from them getting too intimate already, Malcolm's perspective over his wife's welfare seems to diminish as he appears unfazed when told about her unfortunate passing.

Catch more of the intriguing developments when "Penny Dreadful" Season 2 airs this Sunday, June 14 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
