Spoiler reports indicated that the stakes will be too high for Reese (Jim Caviziel) as the show enters its penultimate episode this week.

A report from Spoilers Guide pointed out that Reese as well as Fusco (Kevin Chapman) will be caught in between the war of two rival crime bosses, Elias (Enrico Colantoni) and Dominic (Winston Duke).

"As we already know, Reese will eventually die, as pointed out in the series pilot. So, this far into the season and no word yet on another renewal for Season 5, this could be the one," the site wrote.

The synopsis provided by Spoiler Guide went on to say that a "tantalizing clue" about Shaw's (Sarah Shahi) whereabouts will be followed on by Finch (Michael Emerson) and Root (Amy Acker). However, this trail might lead them into a "possible trap" that could endanger their lives.

The summary continues to tease that Control (Camryn Manheim) will go rogue with the intention to "uncover the true intentions" of the Samaritan program.

Speaking of Control, co-showrunner Greg Plageman was quoted as saying by TV Line in an interview in which he teases the character's major role in the show's upcoming two-parter finale segment.

"One of the most interesting aspects of our show, is to take someone who appears to be a Big Bad, a total villain, and as they start to understand that something else in play, they come over to another perspective," he said (via Mstarz).

"Person of Interest" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
