Peru vs Ecuador Live Stream: Watch World Cup 2014 Qualifying Online Free

Peru will play host to Ecuador on Friday when the pair clash at the Estadio Nacional de Lima in Lima, Peru.

Ecuador have a chance to move within one point of Argentina at the top of the CONMEBOL World Cup qualification group as Reinaldo Rueda's men are currently four points behind the group leaders Argentina.

Peru have only lost once at home and this match should be a true test for the Ecuadorians who were outclassed during a friendly recently against Germany which ended a run of nine games without defeat.

Even with that loss Ecuador was able to beat Paraguay, Chile, Colombia and Portugal who were all out matched by Ecuador in previous matches with the team being propelled by the play of strikers Felipe Caicedo and Christian Benitez.

Peruvian manager Sergio Markarian's is hoping for a World Cup birth and currently trail Venezuela in fifth place, which also happens to be the intercontinental play-off spot should there be a tie at the end of qualification.

The top four squads in the CONMEBOL automatically book a spot in the World Cup finals next summer while the fifth place side competes with the AFC's fifth place team for a chance to be among the final 32 squads.

Peru are unbeaten in their last five games and were victorious in their previous qualifier, a 1-0 win over Chile in March which came courtesy of Jefferson Farfan's last-minute strike.

Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia is the most high-profile name in the visitors' attack, but Peru have plenty of quality of their own in the form of Farfan and Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro.

Kick off for the match will be at 10:10 ET and can be watched online here.
