Peru will play against El Salvador in an international friendly soccer game at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington D.C.. The match takes place on Saturday, May 28, 2016 and kick-off time is 8 p.m. ET or (5 p.m. PT).
Peru is preparing for the Copa America Centenario tournament that will take place across 10 cities in the United States. The South American team will have the opportunity to test its game strategy and evaluate its players for any fine tuning needed just before the cup starts on June 3rd. El Salvador on the other hand, will not participate in the Copa America since it was not invited.
Peru's first game at Copa America will be against Haiti on June 4th. Kick-off time will be 7:30 p.m. ET at Century Link Field in Seattle, WA. Peru has a difficult group with fan favorites Brazil and next-door Ecuador belonging to it. The game against El Salvador may reveal whether the team is in good shape to compete.
