Philadelphia Eagles vs New Orleans Saints Live Stream: Watch Online Monday Night Football Free

Philadelphia Eagles vs New Orleans Saints is the Monday Night Football game tonight with both teams desperate to claim a win that can kick start their stuttering seasons. The game starts at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

This may not look like an important encounter between two teams struggling in the lower ends of the NFL. However, for one of these teams tonight their season could be all but over if they lose. For the other though, it could be a win that could kick start their season onto greater things and a run for the postseason.

Despite their poor 3-4 record, the Eagles are currently sitting second in the NFC East division. The Eagles will have seen Sunday's results and had a glimmer of hope. The top placed New York Giants lost to the Steelers, the Dallas Cowboys became the next team on the hit list for the Atlanta Falcons, and the Washington Redskins lost to the Panthers. A win tonight for the Eagles would make for a perfect week for them in the NFC East standings and will give them hope of cementing second place, and perhaps even snatching first if the Giants can go through a second half of the season slump.

The Saints meanwhile are third in the NFC South division, with a record of 2-5. Carolina sit below them with 2-6, where as Tampa Bay are second on 4-4, and the invincible Falcons sit pretty on top with 8-0. Both Tampa Bay and the Falcons claimed wins on Sunday, so another loss today for New Orleans could spell the end of the road for their lackluster season. However, if they can claim a confidence boosting win and move to 3-5, they will stay in touch of second placed Tampa Bay.

The Saints will be looking to Drew Brees for inspiration. He has completed 188 throws from 315 attempts this year, making 2310 yards for an impressive 20 touchdowns. In comparison, the Eagles' Michael Vick has 157 completions from 266 attempted throws, for 1823 yards and 9 touchdowns this season.

If the Saints are to get a result here though they will need to make more rush yards than they have so far this season - a pathetic return of 72.6 yards on average per game on the ground is simply not good enough to win games.

There's a lot on the line for both of these teams tonight on Monday Night Football. All the action starts from 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
