Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Live Stream: Watch Online NFL 2014 Football (Fox TV Preview, NFL Playoff Picture)

The Philadelphia Eagles will play the New York Giants on Sunday in the final week of the NFL 2014 regular season, and will see both teams fight it out to try and gain one more win in what has become a hugely disappointing season for both teams. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and takes place from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The game will be shown on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream (details below).

The Giants have fought their way back to 6-9 coming into the final week of the season, with much talk about receiver Beckham Jr. emerging as their new star. In a desperately disappointing season for so many reasons, Beckham Jr. has emerged as the one shining light and hope for the future.

Even though the Giants have had a torrid season, there are flashes of strength in their offense, and the hope is that many of their best performing players are so young, giving an indication that things will get better in the coming seasons.

The Eagles though have had a huge let-down season for another reason entirely. They were already meant to be the real deal this season, and were favorites to win the NFC East and go far in the Playoffs.

However, in the past three weeks they have imploded and ruined their season. They are out of the postseason reckoning already and have seen the Dallas Cowboys leapfrog them and become the NFC East's only hope in the Playoffs.

Coming into the final week of the regular season, all but two Playoff places have already been secured. However, those that have already secured their postseason berth still have a lot to play for, with all but one current Playoff team still having something to play for this weekend in the NFL.

The New England Patriots are the only team that has nothing to play for this Sunday; they have already guaranteed themselves the AFC East title as well as securing a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the postseason.

Even the Indianapolis Colts, who appear to have nothing much to play for, can still technically gain some advantage from winning today. If they defeat the Tennessee Titans, and the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers play out a tie, then they could secure the number 3 seed placing.

The Denver Broncos also still have something to play for - they have not yet secured the number 2 seeding in the AFC. They will want to win today, because if they lose to the Oakland Raiders, and the Bengals defeat the Steelers then the Bengals would steal the No. 2 seed spot, dumping the Broncos into the first round of the Playoffs. Most expect the Broncos to defeat the lowly Raiders though, and if they do that then they are guaranteed the second seeding and the first round bye for the Playoffs that comes with it.

In the NFC meanwhile, there are no seed placements guaranteed yet coming into the final weekend of the regular season. There are still four teams in the race for the number 1 seed, and five teams are vying for the number 2 seed.

The Dallas Cowboys could gain the top seed placing if things go their way today, and at the very worst they would have to settle for a number 3 seeding.

The number 4 seed will be between the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. The pair of course will be playing one another today in a winner takes all match up.

The Seattle Seahawks are favorites to take the number 1 seed, and they will do so with a win over the St Louis Rams. However, if they fail to gain the win they need then the door opens for the Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles and Giants will start the game at 1 p.m. ET and the game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
