Pilar Sanders Jailed, Deion Sanders Says She's Teaching Children 'Ungodly' Things

Pilar Sanders has been jailed and has been forbidden to see her three children until further notice after undergoing a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Deion Sanders.

Deion "Prime Time" Sanders, the 47-year-old NFL Hall-of-Famer, is continuing to go through a tough time with his ex-wife Pilar, who has taken to social media to allege that he abused their children. Deion decided to sue his ex-wife for defamation because of those claims and the pair were forced to appear in court because of their issues, which include visitation of their children.

District Judge Ray Wheless ruled that Pilar violated the visitation schedule set forth by her divorce decree after taking possession of her children when she should not have and failing to return them at the appointed time, according to The Dallas Morning News. An officer testified in court and said Pilar gave him a hard time after he visited her three times in order to get her children back for Deion's appointed time.

While she has alleged that Deion abused his children, a Child Protective Services representative said the claims were not found to be true after they were investigated by the agency, according to the Morning News. While Deion insisted Pilar's allegations have hurt his chances of making money and subjected him to public scrutiny, she was ordered to remove all claims made against him on social media.

Pilar insisted she was threatened and coerced to appear in court, reportedly showed up to court with no attorney and was eventually held in contempt of the court, while being assigned to probation and jail for seven days. For the time being, the model has lost her visitation rights with her children.

Deion reportedly told the court that he felt Pilar was brainwashing their children in an ungodly way.

"She brainwashes them as well as teaching them things that's unlawful, ungodly, absurd and turning them against me," he testified, according to the Morning News.

While Deion has never shied away from speaking about his Christian faith, he admits that it may take some time to pray about the situation.

"God established me, not man nor woman. So, I ain't going nowhere," he previously told Bossip. "I'll pray on it; but no time soon."
