General Mills has released a press statement saying that it is possible the dough in the cinnamon rolls may contain fragments of plastic and could be dangerous to consume.

The recall has been classified as a Class II recall, and it only affects the eight count single Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing that have the better-if-used-by-dates on the package of 30OCT2013 and 31OCT2013.

Also included in the recall is the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing two-pack with the better-if-used-by dates of 18OCT2013, 26OCT2013 and 31OCT2013.

No other varieties of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are included in the recall, General Mills has confirmed.

Any customers who notice they have any of the recalled items are asked to contact General Mills for a replacement at 1-800-775-4777.
