The break-out star is meanwhile slated to appear in the next Maze Runner aptly titled "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" of which she will once again play her character Teresa. The film is expected to open this Sept. 18 on theaters.

Aside from the casting news, the 71-year-old businessman also revealed that filming for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will start on February in Queensland, Australia.

As found out, the forthcoming blockbuster title will once again see Johnny Depp as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa.

Javier Bardem will also be joining the film project as the series new villain, Captain Brand. Brenton Thwaites, another newcomer in the franchise, is cast as Henry, a British soldier. Teresa is said to be Henry's love interest.

Thwaites, who previously led the Phillip Noyce-helmed "The Giver" informed The Mirror about what POTC 5 will be about.

"It's about a young man who wants to reconnect with his father, Davy Jones. There's a curse that prevents him from doing that. I think it's about how he goes around that and tries to fix it and he has to save his dad. I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a lot of fun!" the 25-year-old actor told Screen Rant.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is scheduled to hit the big screen July 7, 2017.
