Lila Rose of the pro-life Live Action group said in an interview that the two secretly taped videos showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing delivery of fetal parts prove "what has been happening now for decades."

The release of the videos by the Center for Medical Progress "proves what has been happening now for decades," Rose, the founder and president of Live Action, told The Daily Signal.

Rose's group has also released such undercover videos of Planned Parenthood staffers in the past. "They are engaged in the sale and profiteering of baby body parts," she said.

In one of the two videos, Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood says: "You know, we've been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I'm not gonna crush that part, I'm going to basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact."

Planned Parenthood claims they do not profit from the "tissue donation" program. However, Rose said they use their "only defense" when they are confronted.

Rose called for an investigation of the country's largest abortion provider, and said the they should be "immediately defunded."

Sen. Ted Cruz from Texas and his Republican colleagues Sen. Rand Paul from Kentucky and Mike Lee from Utah recently attached amendments to a highway funding bill to strip Planned Parenthood of federal funding. However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, also a Republican, has reportedly blocked the amendment.

"It's completely unacceptable," Rose said, criticizing McConnell. "He's behaving like a pro-abort."

According to its annual report, Planned Parenthood received taxpayer-funded government health services grant of $540.6 million in 2014, which is about 45 percent of its annual revenue.

"The bill needs to go to the president and it can be on his conscience if he chooses to veto it," Rose said.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has said her department will review all information surrounding the videos.

"I'm aware of those matters generally from the media, and from some inquiries that have been made to the Department of Justice, and again at this point we're going to review all the information and determine what steps, if any, to take at the appropriate time," she told reporters.
