PlayStation 5 Rumors: Sony Making Device Compatible With Morpheus VR?

In what could be one of the most exciting rumors yet to have surfaced about the PlayStation 5, it seems Sony is planning to integrate Morpheus Virtual Reality into the upcoming console.

PlayStation 4 is still one of the most-wanted consoles around, even with other companies launching some quite remarkable consoles to beat the latest PlayStation version. However, two years seem to be a long wait for fans and it just might be the right time for Sony to announce the coming of the fifth-gen version.

While the PS4 has had its downsides and received some complaints from users who experienced the lack of upgrades, Sony doesn't seem to be bothered by issues on the latest version as the company is rumored to be working on a new console that will slam the rest.

It was previously reported that the development team may be looking to use AMD's new chipsets that promise to be 5 times more powerful than those used in the PS3 and PS4.

The rumor already comes as a treat to PlayStation fans around the globe, but with the new rumor that says Morpheus VR, which is featured in the PlayStation VR, may be the other newbie to be integrated in the upcoming system, it can only mean that Sony is taking the competition seriously.

According to Yibada, the PS5 is seen by many experts as one streaming console that features Morpheus VR "as a peripheral to the main controller." This could mean that players will finally experience the closest thing to real-life that any console has ever sported in history.

Virtual reality is one feature that many gamers have been requesting for, and while Sony has remained mum about the issue, it seems the company is planning to give its loyal subscribers the surprise of a lifetime in the form of the PS5.

It is unclear when the new console will be launched, but rumor has it that Sony is working on a 2017 end of time line goal.
