Also for PS4 is SteamWorld Dig, a mining platform action-adventure game created by independent developer Image & Form. The objective of the game is to investigate the mines located underneath the old Western town of Tumbleton.

There are also two games set for PlayStation 3 handlers. For one, there's Frozen Synapse Prime, a turn-based strategy game from Double Eleven which is set in a bleak dystopian future.

Then there's Luftrausers, which is Vlambeer's latest title. It took two-and-a-half years for the studio to develop the shoot 'em up video game, according to Game Spot. However, it only took 72 hours for the game to "become profitable."

Finally, for PlayStation Vita players, there's The Hungry Horde and Escape Plan.

With The Hungry Horde, players lead and take control of wandering zombies in an attempt to "zombify" humans in order to increase ranks while avoiding getting nuked by the military.

Escape Plan on the other hand, is a rather "bloody" black-and-white puzzle game which involves avoiding deadly traps like spinning blades, gigantic hammers, electric bolts and other traps.
