For Johnson, it only took two weeks to catch all current 142 Pokemon in "Pokemon Go," according to CNN. In the first week and a half, he caught around 135 and captured the 142nd Pokemon on July 21 in Central Park in New York.

Johnson let his fellow "Pokemon Go" trainers know of his record by going on to Reddit to share his achievement, Rolling Stone noted. In all 142 monsters, he has captured a total of 4, 629 Pokemon, walked over 95 miles to hatch 303 eggs. He has also fleshed out more than a hundred dollars in his "Pokemon Go" hunt.

'Pokemon Go' Did Not Interfere with Daily Living

Johnson is a fan of the 1st generation Pokemon and has mastered Pokemon Blue and Red. However, it's not his love for the game that made him play "Pokemon Go." As a head of platform of Applico mobile tech company in NY, he played the game to find out what makes it huge.

So after committing to his full-time job, he spends his free time usually at night playing "Pokemon Go." He usually plays with his girlfriend who would come with him to their Pokewalks in public parks and plaza in New York, International Business Times noted.

Johnson has said that he has seen and met numerous "Pokemon Go" players that don't even remotely look like their fans of the franchise. Despite having it marketed for casual players like teens and late 20's people, "Pokemon Go" players span widely across people from all walks of life including students, retirees, full-time career people like him and more.

The Rest of 1st-Gen Pokemon in 'Pokemon Go'

There are officially 151 Pokemon in the first generation. Johnson has yet to catch the legendaries including Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Mew and Mewtwo. Additionally, he has to travel to other countries to catch region-exclusive Pokemon, according to Bustle. Aside from the legendaries, Johnson is currently lacking Mr. Mime from Europe, Kangaskhan in New Zealand and Farfetch'd somewhere in Asia.
