'Pokken Tournament': Chandelure Gameplay Trailer Shows Sneak Peek of Ghost/Fire Pokemon's Moves
Bandai Namco has recently released a trailer showcasing the attacks and other moves of Chandelure. The Ghost and Fire type Pokemon is the latest addition to the growing roster of fighters in the upcoming game "Pokken Tournament."
Chandelure's first video (below) was revealed during the Game Party Event in Japan that was held before a special "Pokken Tournament" competition, according to Serebii. The Pokemon's moves were previously only seen through screenshots.
Chandelure's fighting skills have been described as "unconventional" by iDigitalTimes. Unconventional in the sense that the Pokemon's fighting style in the game is different from how a Chandelure would normally battle.

As can be seen in the video below, Chandelure has a range of attacks. It can make use of its "arms" to hit opponents in close-range combat. It can also make use of its will or wisp attack to throw projectiles at enemies to keep them at bay. On the other hand, when Chandelure is at the receiving end of a ranged attack, the Pokemon can avoid it in a number of ways.
The trailer also shows Chandelure swinging in the air like a real chandelier would. The Pokemon can also be seen changing in size. Meanwhile, it's burst attack appears to put the other Pokemon to sleep before Chandelure attacks it.
Chandelure was revealed last month as the 16th playable character in "Pokken Tournament." The Pokemon is the evolved form of Lampent, which evolved from Litwick.
Prior to Chandelure's announcement, Braixen, Mewtwo, and Garchomp were leaked in an issue of the Japanese monthly manga magazine CoroCoro Comic. Meanwhile, Sceptile, Weavile, Lucario, Blaziken, Pikachu, Gardevoir, Pikachu Libre, Charizard, Shadow Mewtwo, Gengar, and Machamp were previously confirmed to be playable in "Pokken Tournament," too.
"Pokken Tournament" players will be able to use Chandelure in matches starting Feb. 9 when it becomes available in arcades in Japan. The fighting game is scheduled to release worldwide on March 18.
