Media sources like TMZ first reported about the divorce taking place between Stewart and her husband. Porsha, the granddaughter of civil-rights leader Hosea Williams, was reportedly shocked by the news.

"Mrs. Stewart is disappointed about her husband's recent filing for divorce. Mrs Stewart held off on filing for divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her," the estranged Mrs.Stewart's representative reportedly told OMG! Yahoo last March. "Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith."

The reality television star has repeatedly showcased her Christian faith on social media.

"You got to know when to say THANK YOU JESUS, and when to call the devil a Lie (SIC)," Stewart tweeted last month.
