Porsha Stewart of Real Housewives of Atlanta Talks Kordell Stewarts Recent Media Appearances

Porsha Stewart is convinced that her estranged husband Kordell Stewart is making his media rounds in an attempt to defame her.

Porsha, the granddaughter of civil-rights leader Hosea Williams, insists that she learned on Twitter that her estranged husband was divorcing her last March. She was shocked by the news and publicly admitted it.

In a popular radio interview, the former NFL star alleged that Porsha initially asked him for a divorce while claiming that she was a neglectful parent to his son. While Porsha said she did not hear the interview, she spoke about her thoughts on her estranged husband's motives.

"I didn't hear the interview, and I really don't care to comment on anything Kordell has to say. He's saying it for a reason and wants everybody to think of me in one way," Porsha told Entertainment Weekly. "At the end of day, Kordell knew who I was to him and what I did and how I felt about his son. I don't have to justify that at all."

While talk show host Wendy Williams recently revealed that Kordell called her to appear on the show and respond to Porsha's claims that she made during her own appearance there, he previously revealed his perspective on the divorce.

"When your wife looks you in your face and tells you to file for divorce, and the only reason she's not filing is because she doesn't have the money and she doesn't have nothing to lose….are you kidding me," Stewart said on the V103 radio station's Ryan Cameron Morning Show.

He went on to speak about how his stepson calls Porsha "mommy," and insisted that she was a neglectful co-parent.

"I would get home [after being at work] and Porsha's not there. My son would ask me, 'Is mommy coming home, did she make it home yet?' I would say she's doing her thing," he revealed on the radio show. "He would wake up in the morning and ask 'Did mommy make it home?'.. He doesn't deserve to have to deal with that when there's two parents in the home."

Fans of the Stewart's will witness their marriage unravel during the current sixth season of Bravo TV's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
