Porsha Williams is revealing why her fellow "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member NeNe Leakes may have issues with the popular Bravo TV show.
Williams, 32, recently appeared on "The Rickey Smiley Show" where she was questioned about a cryptic tweet written by Leakes, 46, that could be hinting at her leaving their reality television series. Williams explained why Leakes may have issues with the popular show.
"She has a problem with where the whole show is going. Last season was really dark," Williams said on the radio show. "She said that she feels like it's changed."
While Williams said she believed Leakes' departure would be a mutual decision and not a situation where she would be fired, the former admitted that the latter was a diva.
"She's a diva. I think she deserves that," she said on the radio show. "She's been on the show since the very beginning. She has a true fan base."
Still, Williams believes "Real Housewives of Atlanta" can survive without Leakes.
"She would definitely be missed, but would the show go on," Williams responded to prompts on the radio show. "I think it would just because it's an ensemble cast."
Leakes has been hinting about her issues with the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" after the close of the recent sixth season.
"There is a part of me that is tired. There's a part of me that doesn't want to sit on a panel and belittle each other all day long," she told Atlanta radio station V-103 recently. "I mean that's very draining. We shoot this show for over eight months."
Despite Leakes' current issues with her co-stars Kenya Moore and former friend Cynthia Bailey, she insists it is not easy being negative on the series.
"I feel like at the end of the day, all of us women have accomplished something to even be on this show," she said. "So to just sit there and be so negative towards each other is … I have to say that a part of it wears me out."
