They are still desperately trying to turn their season around in an attempt to reach the playoffs later in the season, and getting wins over the other should be a great catalyst for it to happen.

Furthermore, they have one more battle left in the regular season so expect a lot of action between the two teams.
The Rockets have had a very difficult time this season. Only James Harden has had a great season so far for the team but he will surely trade his personal accolades for a chance to return to the top of the Western Conference.
As it seems, the Rockets are unable to hang with the better teams in the league and have the knack of allowing leads to blow up to double digits when they are unable to manage it as they try to make a comeback.
Hopefully they still have some fight in them to improve in the second half of the season.
As for the Blazers, it is a different story as they have stayed afloat despite lacking big players.
They have relied on their role players doing their jobs and Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum closing the games to get the wins they need. If they make it back to the playoffs it will be a big feather on their caps.
