Preorder 'StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void,' Get Beta Access to 'Whispers of Oblivion'

"StarCraft 2" and its coming final and major expansion called "Legacy of the Void" has yet to arrive, but Blizzard Entertainment, the game's publisher, is wanting to entice gamers to preorder by promising beta access to additional content for the game.

Blizzard recently announced that the final standalone expansion pack is now available for preorder and gamers who will buy the game now will get immediate access to a beta version of "Whispers of Oblivion," a three-mission prologue to the final expansion pack.

"Whispers of Oblivion" is supposed to bridge the storyline between the second expansion "Heart of the Swarm" and the final expansion "Legacy of the Void." This was earlier unveiled during the E3 2015. It is said to include new machines and warriors from the different races. It will also feature a mission which involves Dark Templar Zeratul, which is said to be a first.
