Priest's Angry Outburst During Wedding Goes Viral; Photographers Scolded Mid-Ceremony (VIDEO)

A priest's angry outburst at a photographer during a wedding has gone viral, gaining over 500,000 hits in less than a week. The Anglican priest was conducting the ceremony, but was extremely irritated by the photographer's camera and brazenly asked him to leave.

The priest's angry outburst came during the Declaration of Consent between the happy couple. After the pair laughed a bit at a joke the priest made, things turned sour as the loud clicking of the cameras could be heard repeatedly. A few seconds later, the priest had had enough.

"Please, sirs, leave. Please?" he said, clearly perturbed. The photographers took some time to respond, but were seemingly startled at being addressed mid-ceremony.

"Where do you want me to be?" asked one photographer. "Anywhere but here," was the priest's abrupt response.

However, the videographer stayed still, continuing to capture the ceremony. The bride and groom's smiles disappeared, both looking at each other awkwardly as the nuptials were delayed.

"This is a solemn assembly, not a photography session. Please move, or I will stop," he said, directly addressing the videographer.

"You want me to leave?" the videographer asked.

"I will stop the ceremony if you do not get out of the way," the priest said, glaring at him. "This is not about the photography. This is about God."

"You want me to leave, I'll leave," he mumbled, moving the camera past the bridesmaids in embarrassment.

The YouTube video of the event was put up by the videographer and has since gone viral, gaining 547,000 hits in less than a week. Many disagreed about who was right— the priest who wanted to honor God during the ceremony, or the photographer, who was doing what he was paid to do.

"What a freaking horrible man for ruining that wedding!" wrote one user. "I am so thankful that my pastor was a loving and kind gentleman who showed the love of Christ in every situation. He even smiled for our photographer!"

"Unprofessional photographer … the ceremony should be only for the bride and groom…not clicks and flashes from a camera," another user responded.
