Prince William's Night Out After Date With Kate

Prince William has been spotted out on the town with a close friend over the weekend just days after his date night with wife Kate Middleton.

Normally sharing quiet nights at home with the Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke surprised the public by enjoying a night out with Guy Pelly at a private member's club in Mayfair on Saturday.

Instead of being joined by his 30-year-old wife, William was flanked by royal protection officers when he left the club in the early hours.

Actress Naomi Watts and her husband Liev Schreiber were also seen at the same club Saturday. The actress has landed a role playing William's mother, Princess Diana, in an upcoming film about the last two years of the famous royal's life.

William's younger brother, Prince Harry, has often joked that his 29-year-old newly wedded brother has become "middle-aged" following his nuptials last year.

Perhaps the Duke of Cambridge is preparing for a long night of celebrations that will surely follow his June 21 birthday. Kate is rumored to be planning a party "fit for a king" for her husband.

Moreover on Thursday of last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted out together enjoying a cheap date night at the movie theater. The couple even waited in line for tickets to the movie "The Avengers."

One onlooker spied the royal couple despite their ordinary appearance at the theater, and even snapped a photo of the pair.

Word then spread, and one lucky moviegoer Hessa even sat next to the royal couple.

"OMG watching the Avengers with Kate Middleton and Prince William sitting right next to me," Hessa posted on Twitter during the movie. "SLAP ME NOW I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!"

Shortly after, Hessa added, "In case you all wondering which part Prince William liked the most, it was whn (sic) the hulk punched Loki and tossed him around. He laughed hard."
