PS Plus Free Games December 2015 List Features 'Gauntlet: Slayer Edition,' 'King's Quest' Headlining The List

Just in time for the holidays, Sony has just revealed the titles for its December's PlayStation Plus Free Games. Same as the usual, those who were subscribed to the PS Plus program will get to enjoy the following exciting titles across the PlayStation gaming platforms for free.

As shared over at the PlayStation blogsite, PlayStation 4 and PS Plus subscribers will get to play with their friends the classic 4-player co-op game, "Gauntlet: Slayer Edition." Developed over at Arrowhead Game Studios and released on September last year by WB Games, the game can be played in the same screen with other players as well as online. The title features four classic characters like a Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard, each of which has a unique play style and a different skill set.

Sony is also offering for free, the critically-acclaimed original chapter of the "King's Quest" series titled "A Knight to Remember." PlayStation 4 and PS Plus members get to play as King Graham as he journeys to become a knight of Daventry.

The site further added the other games coming for PlayStation 3. Leading the list is "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" from Ubisoft. A standalone expansion from the "Far Cry" game franchise, the title takes players into the world of the 80s action movies complete with the cliché fictional elements of that era including cyborgs, dragons, and mutants, just to name a few.

PlayStation 3 PS Plus members will also get for no charge the "Snowboard Supercross SSX" series from EA Sports Big. The game is best characterized for its arcade-style racing game laden with exciting race courses, avatars, and snowboarding tricks.

For the PS Vita PS Plus members, they'd be able to get for free the futuristic Japanese action role-playing game from SCE Japan Studio, "Freedom Wars." The game sees a bleak future where humans are imprisoned in penal city-states called Panopticons.

And the last on the list is the indie adventure title from Ratloop Asia, "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken." The game can be played solo or co-op online where players get a mission where they have to annihilate a regime run by an evil penguin.

Stay tuned for more updates.
