The single-player DLC is named "Episode 5: Dimension of the Past" and includes a multiplayer map. The add-on can be downloaded via Steam for PC players. After downloading and installing the DLC, the new level can be found on the new "dopa" directory where "Quake" is installed. Run the "dopa.bat" file and you're ready to go.

The last DLC, "Quake Mission Pack No. 2: Dissolution of Eternity," was released for the original game in 1997. It follows the first one titled "Quake Mission Pack No. 1: Scourge of Armagon."

'Quake' on Steam Summer Sale

For those who haven't gotten a copy of the game, Steam is selling the classic game at only $2.50. A Quake Collection package is also available and includes the game, various packs and DLCs. The Steam Summer sale will end on July 4.

'Quake Champions' Multiplayer Competition

For those who are hungry for more "Quake" action, there is good news. During the E3 2016 event, Bethesda announced Quake Champions, a multiplayer-shooter event where PC players can battle it out in a special arena. Gamers can choose from various class warriors with unique abilities.

More details about 'Quake Champions' will be revealed on QuakeCon this summer. Studio director Tim Willits denied the clames that 'Quake Champions' is MOBA. He adds that the game is a newer twist to the original game but only played with Champions.
