Queen Latifah's talk show may have been cancelled, but the entertainer insists God has much more on the horizon for her.

While The Hollywood Reporter announced that The Queen Latifah Show will continue to appear on CBS stations with original episodes through March, the show that started in fall 2013 will officially end after that. The show's host, born Dana Owens, wrote herself a letter on Facebook in which she expressed gratitude.

"Dear Dana, Just a little note to say Thank You…," the talk show host wrote. "Thank you for your strong work ethic and great effort in getting The Queen Latifah Show off the ground and running. Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the face of intense challenges, you displayed 'True Grit'!"

While Latifah also expressed gratitude for her family, partners, staff and crew, the entertainer, who was raised as a Baptist, spoke about the blessing of the opportunity, and insisted that God had more on the horizon for her.

"You can also say you have been a blessing to and been blessed by amazing guests and incredible audiences for this show. We truly changed people's lives for the better," she wrote. "So… STAY POSITIVE, STAY STRONG, and most importantly, STAY OPEN… There is so much more God has in store!"

The 44-year-old singer-actress is gearing up to star in the HBO biopic of blues singer Bessie Smith. She previously spoke up about her faith in God to Good Housekeeping magazine.

"Nobody is perfect. I know that I'm not a saint, but God's love is there for me," Owens previously told the publication last year. "I know that I need help to make it through every day, so I pray to God to help me do the best I can, to lift me up when I am tired and help me develop into the person He wants me to be … I am always surrounded by His love, and He is always there."
