Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband Daniel Gillies have announced this week that they are expecting their first child.
The "She's All That" star revealed that she is due this fall and is struggling to conceal her baby bump while filming TNT's "Perception."
"I've been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time," said Cook, according to Us Weekly. "We clearly have a future actor on our hands."
Cook, who married her actor husband in 2004, portrays special agent Kate Moretti on "Perception." Season two of the crime drama premieres on June 25.
Alternately, Gillies chimed in on the child he and his wife are expecting.
"A lot of people are asking whether I'd prefer a boy or a girl," said "The Vampire Diaries" star. "In truth, it doesn't matter to me- I just can't wait to meet little Keanu Robocop," he joked.
In addition to preparing for their first child, Cook and Gillies are also getting ready for the premiere of Showtime's "Broken Kingdom."
Gillies, who directed and produced the drama, also stars in it opposite Cook as well as actors Darren le Gallo and Seymour Cassel.
Furthermore, Gillies has signed to CW's "The Originals," the spinoff series of "The Vampire Diaries," where he will reprise his role as Elijah Mikaelson.
The series finale of "Vampire Diaries" will air on CW Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
While Cook and Gillies gear up for their first child, several other Hollywood couples are doing the same.
Model and actress Jaime King recently announced that she and her husband Kyle Newman have their first baby on the way. The 34-year-old "Hart of Dixie" fan took to Twitter with the news.
"Getting ready for another baby to be squeezed into this picture @kyle_newman," the model tweeted, attaching a photo of herself, her husband, and their pets.
