Rachel Evan Wood Ties the Knot With Jamie Bell

Actress Rachel Evan Wood and Jamie Bell have gotten married during a ceremony in California on Tuesday, according to reports.

The couple had been together for seven years ahead of this week's nuptials, and Wood's publicist revealed a few details about the ceremony.

"The bride wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera," said the representative in a statement to Yahoo.com. "It was a small ceremony with close family and friends."

Ahead of the ceremony, Wood posted a celebratory message on Twitter.

"Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling," she wrote. "Overwhelming."

One wedding attendee further described the ceremony, confirming the gown by designer Herrera.

"The couple [tied] the knot in a small ceremony with close family and friends," revealed a source speaking to Perez Hilton. "The bride wore a custom Chantilly lace mermaid gown by Caroline Herrera with sleeves and striped ribbon waist detail."

Earlier this month, the pair was spotted in line waiting for their marriage license in Beverly Hills, Calif. An onlooker said they were holding hands and looked "excited and happy," according to Yahoo.

Wood is known for her role as a vampire on HBO's series "True Blood," and has appeared in films such as "Thirteen" and "The Ides of March," among others. Her new husband Bell is best known for his roles in films "Billy Elliot," "King Kong," and "Jumper."

It is the first marriage for the actors. Wood, 25, was once engaged to Marilyn Manson, but after their split in 2010, she rekindled her romance with Bell, 26.

The newlyweds first met on the set of the music video for Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" where they played lovers. Wood has a "J" tattoo on her ankle in honor of Bell's first name.

Wood was spotted at the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala on Saturday just days before her wedding, where she wore a custom made Gucci dress.

The actress will appear in the upcoming film "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" alongside Shia LaBeouf, Rupert Grint, and Melissa Leo. It is expected to be released next year.
