Weapon skin and camera fixes among those included in 'Rainbow Six Siege's' Update 2.1.1

A new update is expected to be released soon for "Rainbow Six Siege," and it will be aiming to fix a wide array of issues currently plaguing the game.

Known as Update 2.1.1, this particular downloadable is expected to address several previously reported issues that players have experienced inside the game.

Developers detailed the different issues set to be addressed in a recent post on the game's official forums.

For instance, a bug that could previously lead to players getting locked into a distant camera angle after they load into a match is now set to be eliminated by the update.

Issues with weapon skins are being addressed as well, with the update set to make Diamond Weapon Skins available in the store once again, while the Obsidian Weapon Skin should also become usable for Year 2 Pass Operators. The Aki No Tsuru Weapon Skin should also work better once Update 2.1.1 is applied.

The Black Mirror should also work better inside "Rainbow Six Siege" as soon as the update takes effect.

Players will also no longer have to deal with a drone issue that could previously lead to Operators not being controllable.

Developers previously noted that Update 2.1.1 will be released for the game within the next few days, so players should hear more about it sooner rather than later.

Notably, there are some other issues affecting the game that have been reported, but are not set to be fixed just yet via the upcoming update.

There's one that could cause items in the store to be displayed only as magenta blocks, as well as some platform-specific issues.

It's unclear when these other issues may be resolved, though these being identified already could make it easier for developers to apply the needed fixes for them sometime soon.

More news about "Rainbow Six Siege" should be made available in the near future.
