Real Housewife Kyle Richards Says Spouses Should Conceal Infidelity

“Real Housewife of Beverley Hills” star and aunt to Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards, has said in her new book that a spouse shouldn’t report an infidelity if it only happened once.

Kyle Richards, 42, one of the main stars of the popular reality TV show was interviewed on “Good Morning America” about her new book called Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real With The Housewife Who Does It All. When host Robin Roberts asked her about the controversial comments, she defended them saying, “I've seen circumstances with people that I know are in love with their spouse and they made one mistake and I said ‘this is somebody that I know, nobody that anybody knows here’.”

“Listen, if this really was a one time mistake, and you did not put this person in jeopardy, I personally think you should deal with it yourself and with God and not go and say: ‘Honey look what I did,’ because I knew that this would ruin their relationship and their life.”

Richards said while her husband of 16 years was on set but off screen, that the couple she referenced is still together and clarified: “And it's not me!”

The exact statement in the star’s new book according to The Daily Mail is, “If you cheat on your spouse once do not tell. You get a free pass...”

Dr. Gary Cass of DefendChristians.org, who just released a top ten list of anti-Christian acts said this is selfish and not beneficial to a marriage.

“You cannot conceal things from God,” Dr. Cass said in an interview with The Christian Post. “This is based on a self delusion that what the spouse doesn’t know doesn’t matter. You have to own up to your sin. You owe your spouse the truth.”

DefendChristians.org is an anti-defamation organization that educates the public on sacrilegious, anti- Christian happenings all over the world. Media is one of the number one perpetrators of anti- Christian sentiments Dr. Cass said. He gives the example of the show “Sister Wives” which he says “overtly advocates for multiple marriages” although the Bible stresses the importance of one man, one woman marriages.

Cass said he is not worried about offending other lifestyles because he is operating off of Christian tenants.

He says that comedian Bill Maher is a full time job. Bill Maher has been openly ridiculing devout Christian Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

“Tebow is an emblem of Christianity,” Cass says. “For better or worse he tries to follow Christianity as best he can.”

Cass says that culture is trending toward accepting anti-Christian rhetoric and believers must step up and speak out against the actions.

“There is literally something that comes up every week,” he said in reference to the making of the anti- Christian list. “You’d be surprised that Christians respond more negatively to these lists and that’s because Christians think they have to be the doormats of the world.”

Dr. Cass believes it is the responsibility of Christians to respond to these comments. Although he responded peacefully, Jesus always responded when he was being attacked. He says the Bible warns us that offenders who have their own problem with Christ will always attack the righteous and we must be ready to defend ourselves.
