'Real Housewives' Adrienne Maloof, Paul Nassif 'Happy' With Divorce Settlement

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif are officially divorced, four months after the couple announced their separation.

The pair, who was reportedly married for 10 years, was embroiled in a bitter divorce dispute which eventually prompted a restraining order following allegations of physical assault made against Nassif. However, in a joint statement, the exes confirmed that they are ready to move past the drama for their three sons.

"We're happy to announce we have reached agreement on a settlement. There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control," the pair told TMZ.com via their rep, Jim Yeager.

"We want the best for each other and we're confident we can help each other make a continuing positive impact with our children. Our goal is for our children to have stable and nurturing relationships with both of us so we can all find as much happiness as possible," the statement added.

Maloof, who was born in to the prominent and wealthy Maloof family, is co-owner of the various business holdings of Maloof Companies including the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings basketball team. It had previously been speculated that she would be forced to pay Nassif, who is a renowned plastic surgeon, up to 50 percent of her fortune, although details of their settlement have not been disclosed.

The pair, who was often seen bickering on the "Real Housewives" reality TV show, offered limited details about the reason behind their split although Maloof, 50, has previously admitted that she can only tolerate Nassif in "small doses."

Nassif shocked fans when he abruptly filed for divorce in July and the divorce filing was later followed by reports of an open marriage.

"Things have not been good between them for a while. [Paul] says they haven't had sex for ages," a friend of Nassif's allegedly told Star Magazine, adding that "they just try to have very little to do with each other."

In September, Maloof was awarded temporary child custody of their three sons: Gavin, Colin and Christian, following the physical abuse claims. It is unclear whether she has retained primary custody as it has since been claimed that they have agreed to share joint custody.
