Real Housewives of Atlanta News: Kandi Burruss Mother Reveals How Todd Tucker Can Make Her Happy

Joyce Jones, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" personality who came on the show as the mother to singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss, is revealing how her daughter's fiance Todd Tucker can make her happy following a long period of televised tension.

Jones, known as "Mama Joyce" on the Bravo reality television show, has vehemently disagreed with her singer-songwriter daughter's decision to marry her fiance - broadcast producer Todd Tucker. Although Mama Joyce has consistently spoken out publicly against Tucker, she recently told Sister 2 Sister magazine what would make her happy about the situation.

"If he was working a full job, if he was a full production person that has full benefits and all that, I'd be happy," Mama Joyce" told S2S magazine.

She told the publication what she thought her daughter deserves in a love interest.

"I would like a real man, a man that just looks at her and thinks that she's the prize, the way I look at her," Mama Joyce told Sister 2 Sister. "He could be a postman. He could be a policeman. He could be a fireman…As long as when she marries him, he don't quit his job."

Although Jones previously said she would stop meddling in her daughter's love life, it seemed she had a hard time doing that during an appearance on CBS Atlanta Morning Show earlier this month. Jones said she was upset that Tucker defended himself and Burruss' friend Carmen against rumors that they were an item more than his fiancee - daughter Riley.

"When Todd was at the house, he came up the steps and he said, 'don't hate me because I'm killing the wall'–that's when I was talking about his picture being all over the wall. And he said 'Kandi you need to do something about your mother, you need to talk to your mama because she's disrespecting me, she's disrespecting Carmen and you need to talk to her,'" Jones recalled to the morning show.

Mama Joyce previously defended herself against claims that she is only seeking financial gain while trying to break up her daughter's relationship.

"My only thing is that I love my daughter. I love my granddaughter, and only thing I've ever done was try to protect my daughter," she told EBONY magazine. "I've never been about her money because I have my own. I never tried to spend her money. I've always tried to save her money, help her save her money. And I just don't want her to let someone else waste what I've worked so hard to help her build."
