"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Alexis Bellino was recently accused of purchasing Twitter followers by her co-star and enemy Tamra Barney.

Barney, 43, made the explosive allegations via her Twitter account recently, suggesting that Bellino's husband Jim admitted that his wife buys Twitter followers in a discussion with their Bravo TV co-star Slade Smiley.

"Gretchen Rossi and Heather Dubrow! Guess who got caught buying twitter followers," Barney tweeted Thursday along with a link to the Rumor Fix report.

The website used statistics from twittercounter.com which reported that Bellino's follower activity has been slightly abnormal in recent days in contrast with her "Real Housewives" co-stars. The mother of three gained over 30,000 new followers in just two days, substantially more than Barney, Heather Dubrow, Vicki Gunvalson, and Gretchen Rossi.

Although Bellino came out and publicly denied the reports, Barney continued her Twitter rant and went on to bad mouth the reality TV star.

"B-------! Her husband admitted it to Slade and Peggy! how does she explain the extream [sic] jumps up & down in her numbers?" Barney ranted.

During August 1-9 Dubrow is said to have gained 2,613 followers, Gunvalson gained 2,031, Barney gained 2,407 and Rossi gained 7,935, far less than Bellino reportedly gained during the same period.

Bellino wasted no time responding to Barney's "crazy" claims and insisted that her 336,868 followers are legitimate.

"Beyond crazy. I wouldn't know the 1st thing about this & would never want fake fans following me," Bellino tweeted.

The pair has been embroiled in a bitter feud throughout season eight of the popular reality show, and it only worsened during the recent reunion show where Barney accused Bellino of being fake.

Bellino, a devout Christian, fired back at Barney claiming that the engaged reality star has "multiple personalities."

"You are psychotic Jesus Jugs!" Barney responded.
