'Real Housewives' Taylor Armstrong Returning in Season 4 Thanks to Kyle Richards

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" recently began filming season four and a new report claims Taylor Armstrong and Yolanda Foster have returned to the hit show.

In February it was claimed that Armstrong, who is a veteran "Housewife," had been fired by Bravo TV producers in a bid to revamp the show. However, a source claims the single mom is back for another season.

"Yolanda and Taylor began filming for the fourth season of RHOBH last week. It was a bit of a shock to see Taylor in front of the camera again because the crew thought she was a goner for sure. The viewers just don't like her," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"But, it has been so hard to find replacements for Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer, that producers had no choice but to bring her back. Yolanda is quickly becoming a fan favorite because she is becoming the mama bear of the group, and calls the ladies out on their catty ways when necessary," the source added.

The 40-year-old reality TV star endured a series of dramatic events in past years, including her ex-husband Russell's suicide. Kyle Richards, who is also back for another season, allegedly used this to convince producers to renew her best friend's contract.

"Kyle really wants Taylor to be asked back for the fourth season. She believes the producers owe it to her after the hell she went through in the run up to and after Russell's suicide. Taylor is really keen to come back too as the show is her only real source of income," the insider explained.

Also amongst those returning for season four are fan favorites Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville, which could be part of the reason Richards worked so hard to have Armstrong stay on the show.

During the season three reunion show special, Richards was left sobbing after a confrontation with Glanville. The mother of four appeared to be outnumbered as the majority of her cast mates complained about her behavior. To her advantage, though, Armstrong and her troubled sister Kim were there to support her.

Kim, who has battles addiction problems in recent years, appeared to be in a better space during the reunion show. It is still unclear whether she is returning.
