"Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are reportedly at war again following an alleged dispute that took place at Giudice's eldest daughter Gia's 12th birthday party.

The feuding reality stars, who also happen to be sisters-in-laws, left viewers hoping for a potential reconciliation following their bitter confrontation at the end of season four. However a new report claims that while the competitive pair had been getting along during early stages of filming for season five, a recent clash has allegedly threatened to make them permanent enemies, according to In Touch magazine.

"Melissa got [verbally] attacked by Teresa and her friends," an eyewitness told In Touch about the Jan. 11 party. "Teresa's pal Kim D. was drunk and was the instigator, stirring the pot - as always - over petty stuff."

Giudice, 40, recently threw the lavish all-white birthday for Gia at Space Odyssey USA in Englewood, NJ and much to her surprise Gorga, 36, showed up with Giudice's brother Joe and their children. Also in attendance was rumored new cast mate Jennifer Dalton, who has reportedly taken part in filming for the upcoming season in recent weeks.

"Jennifer has been filming non-stop with Teresa, Kim D, and Elvira The Party Planner," a source reportedly told allthngsrh.com. "Jennifer is a real estate agent.. and is married to a prominent, and very wealthy, New Jersey real estate developer and is reportedly a friend of both Teresa and [former housewife] Dina Manzo. She attended Teresa's Fabellini launch party last season, and she already has a good relationship with Bravo and has appeared on Pregnant in Heels."

The addition of Dalton could create a slightly more balanced show in season five considering Giudice appeared to have burned bridges with every single one of her season four cast mates.
