Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid is the huge derby game in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday. These fierce rivals currently sit in second and third place in the league and are both chasing league leaders Barcelona, making today's game a must-win for both teams. The game kicks off at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Real Madrid find themselves in the odd position of chasing their local neighbors, with Atletico eight points clear of their rivals. Real have had a torrid La Liga season so far and are 11 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, with many saying the league campaign is already beyond them.

Atletico Madrid, however, have become the main rivals chasing Barca and find themselves only three points behind the Catalan giants with 13 games played in the season so far. Barcelona sit in first place with 37 points, and Atletico are in second with 34 points – meaning a win today for Atletico, and a loss for Barcelona could see them tie for first place.

Atletico are having an amazing season and have lost only one game until now. Although their fierce rivals Real Madrid would love nothing more than to dampen their rival's title hopes and hand out their second defeat today.

Jose Mourinho finds himself under pressure coming into this game and he cannot afford to fall further back from the league leaders, and a home loss against their local rivals would be unacceptable to his bosses and the legions of Real fans.

History is on Mourinho's side, however, as Atletico have not beaten Real since 1999. But with Atletico clearly out-performing their neighbors this season in the league so far, this could be their perfect chance to break that jinx.

Mourinho was booed by his own fans when Real defeated Alcoyano last weekend. If he was booed during a win, one can only imagine what the reaction would be if Real lost today against Atletico.

The Real boss will be sure to recall his big guns, and Karim Benzema will likely start up front. Mourinho will likely have to decide who to choose from Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric, unless he moves things around to accommodate both of them in his starting line up.
