Real Madrid vs Galatasaray takes place in the Champions League quarter final second leg on Tuesday night, with the Turkish champions looking to make an unlikely comeback from a bad defeat in the first leg. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7.45 p.m. UK time and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
Spanish giants Real Madrid easily won the first leg of this tie 3-0, which has immediately caused everyone to write-off the Turkish team. Galatasaray showed some inexperience in that first leg, and although they are to be complimented for taking the game to Real, attacking at every opportunity, they showed naivety in leaving themselves exposed - Jose Mourinho's men took advantage to devastating affect.
If Galatasaray are to come back in this tie they will need an early goal, and they cannot afford to allow Real to score tonight. A single goal by Real would mean the Turkish team would need five goals to claim the tie, due to the away goals rule.
With Cristiano Ronaldo in the team for Real that task will be tough enough for Galatasaray, but at the same time as keeping things tight at the back, they will need to breach the Real defense three times just to take the game into extra time.
On a positive for Galatasaray, Real will be missing pair Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso as both are banned for this game. They received their third bookings of the competition in the first leg.
However, for Galatasaray there are also problems and they are missing top scorer Burak Yilmaz, as well as defender Dany Nounkeu. Both received their third yellow cards of the tournament at the Bernabeu and they will miss this do-or-die game.
If Galatasaray can do the unthinkable and beat Real by four goals tonight they will enter the Champions League semi final draw for the first time in 24 years.
Meanwhile if Real give a solid performance they will reach their 24th Champions League semi final.
