At the moment, Real are level on points with neighbors Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and surprise squad Celta deVigo with 13 points in five matches.

However, Real hold the best goal difference with +13 to lead the table.

On the other hand, struggling Malaga are desperately trying to find their first win of the season as they are 19th in the league and are in the relegation zone.

After their surprise 0-0 draw against Sporting Gijon in the first match of the season, Madrid have turned things around and are slowly looking like one of the best teams in Europe.

They thrashed Real Betis 5-0 before battering Espanyol for six goals before close wins over Granada and Athletic Bilbao have helped them continue on a great streak.

The star-studded team have a tough schedule after their match against Malaga as they are set to face Atletico Madrid and Celta de Vigo within their next three league games so they must make sure to get maximum points against this struggling Malaga club.

As for the visitors, they have only gotten points in their 0-0 draws against Sevilla and Eibar, and have yet to score a single goal this season.

It is a rough start for the team but a win over one of the most storied teams in the country should help them move forward.

Even at least a point taken away from the Bernabeau should be a victory as they prevent Madrid from moving too far atop the table, while it gives Malaga one point off easily one of their toughest matches in the season.

However, history is not leaning on Malaga to get a win as they have lost their last five matches against Real Madrid.

Even worse is that they have never won at the Bernabeau in the club's history, making it a real tough task to do with their current form.
