The Redskins to an extent have proven many of their critics wrong by showing they are not a one man team, continuing on their current storming form without Robert Griffin III recently.
They have now won five straight games using two quarterbacks through the run, and they have been interchangeable without much notice in the team's general play. That is an amazing achievement considering RG3's amazing form this year.
After another impressive performance last week they look playoff ready and all set to go for the postseason. The form that they have shown in the past few months will mean no team will be looking forward to drawing against the Redskins in the playoffs, and that in itself has been an amazing turnaround from a very mixed early part of the season.
The Redskins are tied top of the NFC East on 8-6 along with both the Dallas Cowboys and stuttering New York Giants. It is still anyone's guess who will come out on top in the race for the divisional title and the playoff race.
Although some have penciled in the Redskins now for the title, this division always brings up surprises, and no one would be too shocked should another surprise or two crop up again in the final two weeks of the regular season.
On form this should easily be the Redskins game. However, a closer look will reveal that the Eagles' defensive line has come alive recently, and they are fulfilling now characteristics they should have been displaying all season long. In recent weeks they have been in the oppositions' faces and have menaced opposition quarterbacks.
That will add extra spice into today's game and it will be a joy to see how RG3 responds to such pressure as this division comes down to the wire.
