Reese Witherspoon Arrested: Jim Toth and Actress Arrested in DUI Incident (VIDEO)

Reese Witherspoon has been arrested along with husband Jim Toth on Friday in a DUI-related incident in Atlanta, Ga, according to reports.

The Hollywood actress' husband was actually driving the vehicle at the time when the couple was pulled over early on Friday morning, but that did not stop Witherspoon from also getting into trouble during the incident.

A police officer reportedly saw the car behaving erratically and pulled them over and find out what was going on. The driving was so bad that the officer has reported that the vehicle was driving in the wrong lane at one point, according to Variety.

According to that publication, a police report stated: "Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe I was a real police officer. I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet."

The report continued: "Mrs. Witherspoon asked, 'Do you know my name?' I answered, 'No, I don't need to know your name.' I then added, 'Right now.' Mrs. Witherspoon stated, 'You're about to find out who I am.'... Mrs. Witherspoon also stated, 'You're going to be on national news.' I advised Mrs. Witherspoon that was fine."

The verbal altercation did not end well for the Hollywood actress. Witherspoon was charged with disorderly conduct for getting into a verbal fight with the police officer.

The actress' husband, Toth, was measured to have a blood alcohol level recorded at .139, and as a result was also charged with driving while intoxicated.

The 37 year old actress and her 42 year old husband were taken into custody and booked. They were finally released from custody at 3:30 a.m. Friday.

According to reports, the couple were in the area for work on the film "The Good Lie."
