'Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2' Nintendo Switch Release Date, News: New Trailers for Upcoming Version Rolls Out

Capcom has released two new trailers for "Resident Evil: Revelations" and "Revelations 2" which are both set to be released in the Nintendo Switch soon.

On Monday, Capcom has finally given a glimpse as to how "Resident Evil: Revelations" and "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" would look like on the Nintendo Switch. It's no secret that the successful horror game is coming to the Nintendo Switch this November, but prior to these new trailers, fans of the game may still be wondering how it would turn out. Hopefully, they finally got their answers.

"Revelations" focuses on Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield who are on a mission to prevent a bioterrorist attack targeting the world's oceans with a whole new virus. Players get to play as Jill Valentine, and in the game, she aims to find a missing Chris Redfield venturing forth into a ship called the Queen Zenobia. Just like with every "Resident Evil" game ever released, everything goes terribly wrong and the two protagonists must do everything to stop it.

"Revelations 2," on the other hand, is centered on Chris' sister, Claire Redfield, and on Barry Burton.

As reported by Videogamer, a few hardware specific additions will be coming to the Switch versions of the game, with the implementation of the HD Rumble as well as several control schemes fitted for the Joy-Con. Furthermore, co-op play would also be available on "Revelations 2."

"Revelations" and "Revelations 2" will be part of the "Resident Evil: Revelations Collection." However, fans of the series would be able to purchase the games separately when they finally arrive on the Nintendo eShop. All of the DLCs released for the games will also be included in the titles.

"Resident Evil: Revelations" was first released back in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS with the plot taking place between "Resident Evil 4" and "Resident Evil 5." The game was met with generally positive reviews and a follow-up, "Revelations 2," was released three years later.
