'Revenge' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Is Victoria Really Dead? Executive Producer Teases Season Finale to Be a 'Heartbreaking' One

ABC's hit TV drama series "Revenge" is already nearing to its conclusion but the events just keeps on getting more interesting and exciting.

The last episode titled "Burn," was quite an explosive one as it shows what Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) would do to exact her own revenge to Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) who was previously known as Emily Thorne. She did so by setting the Grayson mansion on fire, with her in it.

Fans were quick to speculate about Victoria's actions. But according to Stowe, this shouldn't come as a surprise.

"People have different theories about it all, but one thing you need to remember is that Victoria has displayed that she's suicidal," the actress told TV Line. "There's always been a bit of a death wish in her. She has a history of that, so this shouldn't be a complete surprise."

Spoiler reports for the upcoming episode titled "Aftermath," meanwhile indicated that "Victoria's drastic choice" will cause "permanent consequences" for Emily. Did the Grayson matriarch really intended for Emily to be framed with the accident?

The question however still hangs whether or not Victoria is really dead. If so, does it mean that the current season will be the show's end?

Meanwhile, executive producer Sunil Nayar hinted, in an interview with TV Guide, that the finale will bring a bittersweet ending for both Emily and Jack.

"People will understand exactly where they stand in the finale," the showrunner said. "We'll really tap into what the world means now that she's Amanda Clark and that he's Jack Porter and ... it's heartbreaking in some ways and really satisfying in others."

It remains to be seen how the complicated story of vengeance further unfolds when "Revenge" Season 4 returns on air this Thursday, April 26 on ABC.
