'Revenge' Season 4 Release Date, Spoilers, News: Upcoming Season Will See an All-Out War

ABC's highly-rated TV drama series "Revenge" will return on air with brand-new episodes for its fourth season in just a matter of weeks and fans already wondering what will happen to the characters they both love and hate in the Hamptons. Here's what we rounded up so far.

In a recently released promo poster, it bears the tagline "What Goes Around Comes Around." Speculations suggest that there might be some role reversal to happen in the show.

A season trailer (which will be provided below) might further cement the assumption for the fact that while Emily Thorne, played by Emily VanCamp, may have successfully achieved her goals of revenge in the previous seasons, it will, in some way, get back to her in the person of Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe).

In the trailer, Victoria, whom Emily had put in a mental asylum, talks about how the woman destroyed her life and that "someone has to pay" for it.

"Emily Thorne, I'm coming for you," the voiceover ended.

Meanwhile, spoiler shots taken from promo photos revealed Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) being carried away like a king by a group of "sailors." TVOverMind further showed in a series of photos in their website the first look of the new Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) and Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse) as well as the new character, Louise, which is to be played by Elena Satine.

Another new cast who is deemed to play a big role in the show is Nestor Serrano. His character named Edward Alvarez, is a police officer who will help Victoria in her revenge plans.

"He's a friend of Victoria's on the force who really has her back at a time when she needs someone to have her back," EP Sunil Nayar told TV Line.

"Revenge" Season 4 will return on Sept. 28 on ABC at 10 p.m.
