'Revolution' Season 2 Cast Grows: Christopher Cousins of 'Breaking Bad' Added

A new actor has been added to the cast of NBC's hit science fiction drama "Revolution." Christopher Cousins will be joining the cast.

Cousins is perhaps most well known for his role on "Breaking Bad." On that AMC hit, he played the role of Ted Beneke from 2009 to 2012.

On "Revolution," Cousins will be playing the role of Patriot Vitor Doyle. Doyle is set to act as an enemy of Tom Neville, according to WetPaint.com. There should be some chemistry between Neville and Doyle, as the actors have worked together before. Neville is, interestingly enough, played by actor Giancarlo Esposito, who also acted on "Breaking Bad" as heinous meth kingpin Gustavo Fring.

Cousins' role on "Revolution" will be recurring, though it is unclear how many episodes he will be in.

But it isn't just new character taking the focus on "Revolution," as old characters are garnering their fair share of attention.

Star David Lyons sat down with TV Guide for an interview discussing the character of Monroe. Though it seems unlikely, Monroe and Charlie may be on friendlier terms.

"I mean, this is the guy who's been responsible for the death of her father and her brother and the destruction of her life as she knows it. He understands completely what Charlie's perspective is and understands that she wants to kill him and to an extent he probably has a death wish himself ... and now [he's going to] fight hard and as well as he can to try and bring her into the fold and make her understand," Lyons said.

He added that future episodes will show the two getting closer.

"I think we share some moments together in which they start to talk about their grievances and there's a reticent mutual understanding that they can possibly come to," Lyons said.
