'Rick and Morty' Character Secret Revealed By Creators

Series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland tease fans with a secret about Mr. Poopybutthole's identity. Meanwhile, fans can continue to have more of Rick and Morty in the mobile game, "Pocket Mortys."

Harmon revealed that Mr. Poopybutthole has a significant relationship with the Meseeks while plugging about their fund-raising contest with Omaze.

The contest — where participants will have to donate to Omaze to join — is in search of a lucky winner who gets to watch Harmon and Roiland record the DVD commentary for season 3 of "Rick and Morty."

In Harmon and Roiland's video plug, they tell the viewers that they have a practice session before doing commentaries, which they also demonstrated with the use of "Rick and Morty" figurines.

Roiland then proceeds to run a spiel of "Rick and Morty."

"Hey Rick, I want a drink out of your flask," Rick says to Morty.

"Where did you get my flask Morty? Give it back," Rick says to his grandson. However, Morty pulls out a gun and points it at Rick. When Roiland makes Rick and Morty rumble, Mr. Poopybutthole enters the scene.

Harmon then reveals the secret about the fan-favorite character.

"Mr. Poopybutthole, a lot of people don't know, is actually an adult Meseeks," Harmon says.

However, Harmon didn't explain how Mr. Poopybutthole is an adult Meseeks. Because of that, fans believe that Harmon was just playing around with the viewers when he said it, especially because the Meseeks are characters that don't really get to live long.

Meanwhile, for fans who still want more of "Rick and Morty" while waiting for season 4, "Pocket Mortys" is still ongoing with several new types of Ricks to catch.

"If you thought we were going to stop updating after season 3, you don't know us. But we also don't know you. Or need to. So it works out," the official game account announced on Twitter.

The premiere of "Rick and Morty" season 4 has yet to be confirmed.
