Rihanna and Chris Brown are rumored to have split after months of on-again-off-again reports, and some claim that the singer's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran is open to rekindling their relationship.
In January, Rihanna confirmed that she and Brown, 23, had reconciled four years after their infamous 2009 domestic assault incident. However, a new report suggests that the tumultuous pair has since parted ways.
"A source exclusive to E! News has confirmed the couple's split after a tireless frenzy of are-they-or-aren't-they tailchasing. Per the insider, RiRi will always love Chris but has moved on and is reshifting her focus to her career and business ventures," writes E! Online's Tanya Chen.
Tran, 24, was left heartbroken in November when Brown left her for Rihanna. The model dated the "Fine China" singer for two years before he abruptly ended their relationship, but his actions have not deterred her.
"She would," a source told HollywoodLife.com regarding whether Tran would get back together with Brown. "She likes him a lot. There's nothing like the first real love. They were together and there are still feelings there so yes, I think she would."
While Tran was allegedly hurt when Brown ended their relationship, some claim she was not surprised, which is why she is still open to reconciliation.
"She had a good time with him and he respected her and treated her good and he never lied to her," the source said.
"He was up front from jump so you have to respect that. He may have done some things that people on the outside judged him for, but Karrueche always knew what to expect," the source said.
Tran's rival Rihanna, 24, is yet to confirm or deny reports of a split, but it was previously revealed that the Bajan singer has been questioning her relationship with Brown in recent months.
The "Diamonds" singer reportedly recognizes that her and Brown's relationship is not having a positive influence on her.
"RiRi's received death threats, verbal attacks and has fallen out with some of her best friends recently, including Katy Perry," a source told The Sun U.K. about the effects of her relationship. "This has taken a huge emotional toll."
