Rihanna Fans Toss Chips at Singer Weeks After Cheering for Beyonce

Rihanna, the 25-year-old Barbadian singer, recently reacted to fans throwing potato chips at her during a recent tour stop in Manchester, England.

During her "Diamonds World Tour" stop in Manchester, Rihanna told fans that she loved how crazy they were being. However, things got too crazy for the pop star when food was tossed on the stage where she was performing by audience members.

"All right, there's a good crazy, and a bad crazy," Rihanna told her audience members, according to an aceshowbiz.com report. "When you throw (expletive) up here, that's an epic fail."

The singer then reprimanded the audience members, warning them to cease in throwing things at her.

"I wanna get your gifts, but I don't want you to knock my people out before we do this (expletive) ... Cut that (expletive) out," she said. "Chips though? That's that important?"

While it remains unclear who threw chips at Rihanna or why, the singer has been arriving late for a number of shows on her world tour including performances in Wales, Belgium and France. Earlier this month, some audience members at Rihanna's Gdynia, Poland show began to chant for fellow singer Beyonce when she was close to one hour late, according to Radar Online reports.

Fans of the singer showed their disdain for her behavior at the Poland show on Twitter.

"Dear Rihanna," @Panpremier tweeted. "Will you get on the stage at last? 50 minutes late is a complete lack of respect to the people who came to listen to you."

Another person recognized that the singer has made a habit of being late to her performances.

"Don't understand those people being disappointed with Rihanna being late on stage- she was late EVERY time, should have been prepared 4 it," @Marcin_PL tweeted.

Although Rihanna is vocal on Twitter, she had no negative things to say about the recent tour stop in Manchester where things were thrown on the stage where she was performing.
