Rihanna Hard Partying Threatens 'Diamonds' Tour, Doctors Issue Stern Warning
Rihanna has reportedly been advised to curb her partying just weeks after the singer suffered a bout of laryngitis.
In May of 2012, the Bajan singer was hospitalized after weeks of hard partying and almost one year later, she could find herself in the same situation. Doctors have reportedly warned her that not making appropriate lifestyle changes may result in the cancellation of her Diamonds World Tour.
"Rihanna's illness was so severe that doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover- there were worries that she'd have to cancel her entire tour," a source told Heat magazine.

"She was forced to cancel two of her Diamonds dates in Baltimore and Boston after coming down with laryngitis," the source said. "She has since resumed the tour and promised to reschedule the cancelled shows."
The 24-year-old pop singer is completely open about her hard partying, with the singer regularly sharing controversial photos of marijuana and alcohol on social networking sites. The expert warning is believed to have served as a wake up call for her.
"They've told her that she needs to make some serious lifestyle changes, or risk this happening again. This has given her a scare but Rihanna knows it's partly self-inflicted," the source revealed.
"She loves to smoke, drink and stay up late. Her body was bound to need a break at some point," the source continued. "She's now on a mission to start looking after herself."
In January, Rihanna confirmed that she had reconciled with singer Chris Brown following their 2009 assault incident. The singer is reportedly concerned with the impact that their relationship is having on her.
"RiRi's received death threats, verbal attacks and has fallen out with some of her best friends recently, including Katy Perry," the insider said. "This has taken a huge emotional toll."
